Eglantine was a small  adult Burmese/Siamese mix cat with  big beautiful blue eyes that I adopted at a shelter where I was volunteering (I came to find out only weeks later that the shelter was closing its doors permanently).

As a rescue and previously a homeless cat, Eglantine had gone through a lot. Her jaw had been broken due to human cruelty.

Her self esteem was extremely low and she was  very depressed. The sadness in her eyes showed me she had given up on happiness which shattered my heart. It was her and I at that point.  She had trauma. I had to do something.

 

Together, through a long process of deep communication and love, she transformed right before my eyes. It was truly amazing. She became  confident, proud, and happy!  I will never forget her and I taking walks together outdoors and walking by this small 4 feet tree as she glanced at it every time with the curiosity of a cat that wants to climb a tree. I asked her if  she would like to climb a tree and she said that she would love to but didn’t think she could do it and she would not be able to come down afterwards. She also added that she needed to find a way because she really really  wanted to and would feel so tall from the top of a tree.  So after that I started telling her every night before going to bed, that if she wanted to, she could climb a tree “tomorrow”.  I also told her she needed to get her nails sharpen to do so which she started doing the next day (she was an indoor cat).  After a lot of encouragement and patience, a couple weeks later, she finally made it!  Not only did she climb a tree but she chose to climb a 16 feet one! I was so proud of her!

 

Many incredible miracles happened during our time together that still amaze me, and still happen to this day.

 

When she passed away, I was devastated as she was my best friend, my soulmate, my everything.

She became my guardian angel and she now guides me every step I take. Her presence is very powerful.

 

I will be forever grateful for the precious time we spent together. This tiny cat thought me unconditional love and patience and helped me grow tremendously as an animal whisperer.

Coco, 5 years old dog- 1st session: when he came to his 1st visit, he had limited mobility due to an accident jumping during which his belly got pierced. His human mom said:" I think he is clearly in a more peaceful puppy like state and mood since last night. It was very surprising to have Coco jumping up and down on his hind legs as he did before his injury. His digestion seems better as well because his stomach (location of his injury) felt softer and less full. Coco came out of the reiki session in puppy like spirits, playful and in state of puppy like wellbeing.It gives me joy to see Coco in a state of well being and to know that we can provide this naturally and holistically.”

Teddy, 8 years old dog - During Teddy's sessions, we focused on his fear of separation. He gets very stressed when his human mom leaves him at her friends house for a few hours. After a few sessions, one of her friends who was taking care of Teddy for the day, was able to notice a more relaxed Teddy who didn't cry while his human mom was absent as he usually did.
